I am currently a fascinating even annoying book titled, "love + sex with robots: the evolution of human-robot relationships," read by David Levy (buy direct). In it, levy describes in detail the robotics industry began as well, where it is now, where does (he believes) is it in about 40 years. Its introduction justice, not to quote I'll explain so far my favorite bit:
"Robots are very appealing to people as a companion for their many talents, meaning and skills." You have the ability, fall in love with people and get romantic attractive and sexually desirable for the people. "Robot transforms human notions of love and sexuality"
Not I would have a second thought even robot love given before picking up the book. But now, a few chapters in, and I'm learning applications therapist with an unusually high success rate more about the current robots in our everyday world - like robot with helpful people depressed. How I make my way through it, do not be surprised if I am curious more thoughts and interesting tidbits parts, but in the meantime: thinking you robots even some which our relationship must be replaced in the next 40 years?Do you think people date robot that fall into each other, get married and life will be happy at the end? why or why not?
