Can robot love replace a partner?

I am currently a fascinating even annoying book titled, "love + sex with robots: the evolution of human-robot relationships," read by David Levy (buy direct). In it, levy describes in detail the robotics industry began as well, where it is now, where does (he believes) is it in about 40 years. Its introduction justice, not to quote I'll explain so far my favorite bit:

What does ' taking a break'?

I've pretty much avoided other than my fascination with dating in the dark, dating reality shows. I am aware that a whole series of Mama's boys, the Bachelor, farmer wants a wife choose but in addition I rarely follow what is going on.
